2023 NFL Predictions
Can I correctly predict the Super Bowl Champion for the Third Year In a Row?
I successfully predicted the Super Bowl Champions for the last two years in a row. Yes, I picked the Rams in 2021 and the Chiefs in 2022. Can I do it a third straight year? Let’s see.
NFC EAST
Philadelphia
Washington
New York
Dallas
This division sure has gotten a lot tougher hasn’t it? I think the Commies being sold by Dan Snyder is worth two wins for the team right there, to be honest. It’s hard to pick against the Eagles, but any team in this division is good enough to win.
NFC NORTH
Detroit
Minnesota
Chicago
Green Bay
The Lions were my pick for this division before their 21-20 win over the Chiefs on Thursday night. Dan Campbell is going to will this team to the playoffs. Green Bay will finally learn what rebuilding is all about after trading Aaron Rodgers to the Jets.
NFC SOUTH
Carolina
New Orleans
Tampa Bay
Atlanta
By rule, somebody has to win the NFL South. Last year, the Bucs won the division with an 8-9 record. The rest of the division was 7-10. The South is playing for the four seed, but I think it looks like it will be Carolina’s turn across the top.
NFC WEST
San Francisco
Seattle
Los Angeles
Arizona
This division is easier to pick than most years. Arizona is tanking. The Rams have injuries. The 49ers are the team to beat, though the Seahawks are good enough to give them a run for it.
AFC EAST
Miami
Buffalo
New York
New England
The Patriots will be basement dwellers now. Something about the Jets tells me they are going to be in the hunt most of the season, though that doesn’t necessarily mean they go to the playoffs. The Dolphins winning the division is contingent on Tua Tagovailoa actually staying healthy.
AFC NORTH
Cincinnati
Baltimore
Pittsburgh
Cleveland
Everybody knows who they are and we know who they are. The Ravens have a lot more offensive weapons now, but it’s the defense that’s a little more suspect. Lamar Jackson still isn’t worth all that money. The Bengals are in good shape for another division title. This could be their year.
AFC SOUTH
Jacksonville
Tennessee
Indianapolis
Houston
No time like the present for Jacksonville, who has rebuilt its organization and is coming off of a division title. The road to the playoffs goes trough Duval for the AFC South for the next few years
AFC WEST
Kansas City
Los Angeles
Denver
Las Vegas
Nothing I saw on Thursdays takes me off my pick of the Chiefs winning yet another AFC West, which will be their eighth in a row. Las Vegas is yet another team that is in the middle of a perpetual rebuild.
