Why are you running for office? *
I am concern about the overreaching of authority and abuse of power by the AACO
Who do you consider your political role model, and why? *
Rand Paul - he closely resembles my political views.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why? *
How to fix Congress (www.howtofixcongress.com); self explanatory
What will be your top priority in office? *
(Not in order of importance) Uphold and defend the Constitutional Rights of the citizens of the county Re-organize the county government - using engineering processes - to be more efficient and cost effective; this will lead to a reduction of expending which will translate to either tax cuts to the citizens or money surplus allocation to programs that the residents elect to have and benefit all not just few. I will neither enact or enforce any law, statue, code that violates the Constitutional or property Right of the county citizens. Force the state to teach our children "Critical Thinking" and move away from 'Common Core" - which is convoluted and impractical. Our children should have many tools in their toolbox; at this time common core is the only tool. Expand the ability for the AACO students to do virtual classes when necessary with actual functioning system by expanding WiFi signal across the county. This will bring the school to anyone in the county regardless whether they have internet or not. I will do my best to force the state to observe and respect the Fourth Article (Reciprocity) and Sixth Article (Hierarchy of law) of the US. Constitution when it comes to our Constitutional Rights. There are many more....
What is the biggest issue facing your area? *
Constitutional Rights are second to profit; that has to change.
What are the three biggest issues facing Maryland? *
Overspending on programs that do not make sense. Overspending on programs that we cannot afford and increasing taxes to pay for those programs. Overtaxing and imposing unnecessary fees small business and driving the payroll tax to an unsustainable level for the small business to survive. Common Core education has to stop; we should be teaching our children "Critical Thinking". Crime, drugs, overdoses levels increasing. Mental Health related to the unconstitutional lockdowns and unconstitutional mandates.
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide) *
I am pro life when it come to abortion; I do however support assisted suicide when end of life situations to be merciful.
What is your position on taxes and spending? *
Government should be smaller to required less taxation and spending should be done without wastefulness on items that benefit all on programs that make sense.
What is your position on gun rights? *
I am a strong believer on the second amendment; no where in the US Constitution states that you have the Right to bear arms as long as you have a "Concealed carry" or "Open carry" Permit. The very fact that you need to have a permit negates this Constitutional Right. Gorgia just passed the "Constitutional carry" law which states that the Constitution gives you the right and no state's government has that Right.
What is your position on the legalization of marijuana? *
I am for legalization of marijuana for recreational purposes. Other states that have done this have increased the revenue immensely through taxation.
What is your position on the current three-tiered system for the sale and distribution of alcohol? *
It has its pros and cons. The state uses this system to collect taxation, but also to ensure that nothing is added to the process that can harm citizens. I do believe that it works as is. Can it be improved? Everything can be improved.
What is your position on land use, growth, and development? *
I believe that conservation laws are important for the environment, nature, animals, and the promotion of healthy habits for our citizens; they are overall a good thing - except when they are used to violate citizens' property Rights; which AACO does all the time. I believe that development is necessary when it is done responsibly. There should be a balance between both; however, the property owner should have the Right to accept conservation areas on his / her property, and the owner should get taxed at a lower rate for this land.
What is your position on crime and public safety? *
I believe that the state should allow its citizens to exercise their second amendment Right; this will bring the crime down considerably. I also believe that we need to increase our police force in the county.
What is your position on county tax caps? *
I disagree as many large corporation take advantage of these caps.
Was Joe Biden legitimately elected President of the United States in the November 2020 Election? *
No
Do you pledge to accept the results of your election? *
Yes
Berra is on the ballot as a Republican, but for unclear reasons listed his party affiliation as Libertarian
