I want to assist in continuing to grow and strengthen the Republican Party in Carroll County.
Who do you consider your political role model, and why?*
I grew up with Reagan as our president. Strong and respectable with a sense of humor.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?*
The Bible. When I find myself utter in knots over all this, I can be comforted and reminded that God is still in control and my story isn’t finished.
What do you see as the role of the Central Committee?*
Encourage new prospective candidates to get involved; work on the “non-partisan” elections (towns and BoE) and support statewide candidates when our local Republicans have no general opponents.
What are the three biggest issues facing your county party?*
Infighting. Infighting. Infighting.
What are the three biggest issues facing your state party?*
Hard to say. I’ve spent the last year focused on our local campaigns. I’m not so familiar with the state drama. Lol.
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide)*
Strongly pro-life!
What is your position on taxes, spending, and the federal deficit?*
Taxes should be as low as possible and spending…good grief. The economy is headed in the wrong direction.
