Why are you running for office?*
I want to preserve conservative values in Frederick County, and have a role in ensuring election integrity. I want to make sure that Republican politicians do not support coercive health measures like mask mandates and differential treatment based on vaccination status
Who do you consider your political role model, and why?*
Glenn Youngkin, because he has been the most successful politician at balancing the new Conservative populist movement with the party's more establishment branch. He fights for conservative values, even when he is smeared by the media.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?*
Woke Inc. Vivek Ramaswamy does an excellent job of explaining the intersection of politics and capitalism that has been so toxic to American society over the past decade. It explained a lot about why America is where it is today, and offered productive and realistic potential solutions to our problems.
What do you see as the role of the Central Committee?*
I see my role as helping to craft Republican Party by-laws and help mold candidates for open positions. This will be especially important should a Republican win the 2022 Gubernatorial race.
What are the three biggest issues facing your county party?*
1. The division between establishment and populist Republicans 2. Unfair districting 3. Not enough candidates running for County Council seats
What are the three biggest issues facing your state party?*
1. Difficulty stopping radical progressive legislation due to Democrats' veto-proof majority in the legislature 2. Division between establishment and populist Republicans 3. Unfair districting
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide)*
Against assisted suicide with 0 exceptions. Against abortion unless mother's life is in danger.
What is your position on taxes, spending, and the federal deficit?*
Our taxes, spending, and federal deficit are all far too high. I support cutting 90% of federal spending and government agencies to save money, decrease the deficit, and get the federal government out of Americans' lives. Our government has been consumed by handouts to lobbyists and administrative bloat.
What is your position on gun rights?*
I am proudly pro 2A. I own a firearm, and support the right of every law-abiding Marylander to keep and bear arms.
Do you believe that Maryland primary elections should be open to independent voters?*
No
Do you believe that the state party and the county parties should be allowed to endorse in primary elections?*
No
Do you believe that Maryland Republican Party auxiliary organizations should have a vote on the Maryland Republican Party executive committee?*
Yes
Would you support limiting the terms of Maryland Republican Party officers to eight consecutive years in the same office?*
Yes
Was Joe Biden legitimately elected President of the United States in the November 2020 Election?*
Yes
Do you pledge to accept the results of your election?*
Yes
