To correct the course of Montgomery County, better serve the children, and ensure that we focus on our core mission.
Who do you consider your political role model, and why? *
John C. Fremont - Military leader, abolitionist, explorer. He identified the issue, sought advice and counsel, and then attempted to bring change with all his focus and energy.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why? *
Blueprint: The Evolutionary Origins of a Good Society because it starts from a positive perspective and explores the positives of human ingenuity and spirit.
What will be your top priority in office? *
Children and students
What is the biggest issue facing your area? *
Misfocused adults with disparate agendas using children to forward their own goals.
What are the three biggest issues facing Maryland? *
Teacher shortages, class overcrowding, resource mismanagement
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide) *

What is your position on taxes and spending? *
Taxes are a necessity for core things, but there needs to be more transparency and accountability for how tax revenue is spent.
What is your position on gun rights? *
Pro Second Amendment
What is your position on the legalization of marijuana? *
Legalization takes away the mystery of it and its use has not increased. We have reduced government enforcement and incarceration costs associated with it.
What is your position on the current three-tiered system for the sale and distribution of alcohol? *
Even where it is not a requirement (State of Washington) it is still in use as an efficient system. It is not just in alcohol, but a large number of products utilize a 3-tier system.
What is your position on land use, growth, and development? *
It's positive.
What is your position on crime and public safety? *
We need to bring back SRO's to schools at Principals request.
What is your position on county tax caps? *
They're a start. A freeze with increases tied to specific and demonstrated need would be better.
