Why are you running for office? *
I want to be the “CHANGE” that I would like to see in others. My platform Financial Freedom & NO TAX. I will support common sense Legislation that will put more money back into the citizens pocket. In my professional life as a small business owner, I have personally seen oppressive government take money out of my pocket but not use it for it's intended purpose. I have the utmost passion for the citizens of Calvert, Charles and Prince George's County and understand their needs for a government that works and benefits them. . Who do you consider your political role model, and why? *
Dr. Ben Carson , He was bold , courageous, and support the truth and called on ROU by name to give me a true voice to start my political run. Tweeted by President Trump and his campaign. Lee Haves North Club for voting for me as At Large Member of Prince George's Central Committee which I really appreciated.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why? *
Bet You Didn't See That One Coming Governor - Bob Ehrlich It gives a transparent but yet a balanced political view of politics in America.
What will be your top priority in office? *
MyEcon platform: FINANCIAL FREEDOM & NO TAX My top priority is to support common sense Legislation that put more money back into the people's pocket. Not taking money out of hard working peoples pocket by creating and boasting about stupid tax like "Rain Tax" and "Inheritance Tax" making MD one of the only States to have both Estate Tax and Inheritance Tax ,and running our grandparents and seniors citizens out of the state Way to go Maryland.
What is the biggest issue facing your area? *
Financial Freedom and over Taxation. I have the utmost passion for the citizens of District 27 Calvert, Charles and Prince George's County and understand their needs for a government that works and benefits them.
What are the three biggest issues facing Maryland? *
The biggest issues facing Maryland is 3E's: Education. Economics. & Equity. Making sure our student are prepared in the 21 century , making sure citizens have a good quality of life , making sure everybody has shot of climbing the economic ladder.
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide) *
Those issues are handled by Judicial system. I'm running for the Legislative Branch.
What is your position on taxes and spending? *
Maryland has one highest Taxed in this Nation. Although Maryland is one of the highest taxed states in the nation, other states do just as well if not better with far less taxing than Maryland. In the Maryland Senate, I would work to make government more lean and efficient, to reduce this unhealthy burden of high taxation and spending on our citizens.
What is your position on gun rights? *
I support 2nd Amendment. We have been given a free will and the right to protect our self especially when government will not do it or talks about taking GOD out of our constitution.
What is your position on the legalization of marijuana? *
Cannabis dis-proportionally and negatively effected African Americans , any legalization efforts must be prioritize for the African American
What is your position on the current three-tiered system for the sale and distribution of alcohol? *
I have none. If it not broke don't fix it.
What is your position on land use, growth, and development? *
My position is that land it the only one thing we cant create more off, so we need to be wise and perverse, protect and cultivate it. Along with fair treatment and meaningful involvement of ALL people regardless of race , color , national origin, or income with respect to the development, implementation and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations and policies.
What is your position on crime and public safety? *
I believe we should enforce justice for ALL as long as their is honest transparency and equity for ALL.
What is your position on county tax caps? *
My position is NO TAX. We need to look at spending before we talk about anything else.
