Why are you running for office?*
Tired of the same old Democrat policies destroying our community. Time for a new look at the policies in Maryland
Who do you consider your political role model, and why?*
Lt. Col. Allen West- He is principled with common sense policy. He knows history and speaks with passion for our country. He worked hard and does not give up.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?*
I read so many books on history and politics that my favorite books is always changing. The last book I read was The Killing of Uncle Sam: The Demise of the United States of America by Rodney Howard-Browne and Paul Williams. It is very important to me to know our history and learn from them how to make our country better for the future.
What will be your top priority in office?*
Accountability and connecting with the voters. It is time for the voters to know where there money is really going. We need to have access to the details of the budget not just that total amount for a pet project.
What is the biggest issue facing your area?*
Jobs and loss of business and number one is education. Regulations and too many taxes for the employer make it difficult to hire good people. The education of our children needs to focus on skills not sexual concepts. The children need to be motivated and taught the importance and pride of accomplishments. The schools have ruined so many lives with masking and the lock-downs. Those years are lost and now the children have to make up for the lack of learning so many skills at an older age. We need to instill moral values.
What are the three biggest issues facing Maryland?*
Inflation and high taxes and crime.
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide)*
I am pro life and against assisted suicide. I believe each life is important no matter the health and well being. They were created for a reason. Not everyone has a perfect life, that is not a reason to kill an unborn baby or a very ill person. Quality of life should not be a factor that determines whether to live or die.
What is your position on taxes and spending?*
Too many taxes and unaccounted spending. We need to remove the state tax on everyone to encourage people to retire in Maryland and move here. The government needs to get out of the social welfare business.
What is your position on gun rights?*
I support the second amendment. We should be able to protect ourselves and our homes. The more armed people walking around the safer we will be. An unarmed person is not easily able to protect himself from an armed person. Don't bring a knife to a gunfight.
What is your position on the legalization of marijuana?*
The state is legalizing marijuana to make a profit instead of the drug dealers. Drug dealers will still exist. I do not support recreational use of drugs.
What is your position on the current three-tiered system for the sale and distribution of alcohol?*
I am not familiar with it.
What is your position on land use, growth, and development?*
I support the local farmers and what is in their best interest.
What is your position on crime and public safety?*
I am against crime and support safety. The serious criminals should be charged and not released on plea bargains. The laws are the reason judges let them free. It is up to the legislature to make laws that lock them up. I support project exile.
What is your position on county tax caps?*
Tax caps are good.
For candidates for the General Assembly: Legislators can receive $101 per day for lodging and $47 per day for meals during the 90-day General Assembly session. If elected, do you plan to accept these benefits? Why or why not?
Yes I will accept these benefits. Just like businesses pay for the employers expenses when they go on business trips so too should the Legislators be paid.
Was Joe Biden legitimately elected President of the United States in the November 2020 Election?*
No
Do you pledge to accept the results of your election?*
No
