Cox Blows Off Forum, Talks to Steve Bannon Instead
Dan Cox's Priorities, in a nut shell
Dan Cox blew off yet another forum today at the last possible minute.
Cox was one of the many gubernatorial candidates scheduled to participate in tonight’s Baltimore Teacher Network gubernatorial forum in Baltimore.
Cox however contact organizers to announce he was not going to be attending about twenty minutes prior to the event’s kick-off.
Why was Cox not able to attend? Because he was doing Steve Bannon’s internet show instead.
Bannon of course is the former Editor of Breitbart and the former Counselor to President Donald Trump. Bannon was one of the key architects of the “Stop the Steal” movement and the events leading up to and on January 6th. He was in communication with the Proud Boys and other fascist groups in the days leading up to January 6th.
Bannon is currently facing federal charges of contempt of Congress. He previously had been charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering related to a private fund to build the wall with Mexico. Those charges were avoided prior to trial once Trump pardoned Bannon.
Why Dan Cox, eight days before the primary, would choose to spend his time talking to a non-Maryland internet show hosted by a populist goon like Steve Bannon instead of talking at a forum with potential voters about education says everything you need to know about Dan Cox’s priorities.
