Cox Endorsed By Disgraced Ex-Marine
Cox posts a video of his endorsement by Stuart Scheller
If you are judged by the company you keep, Dan Cox has continued accumulating some pretty terrible company.
After being endorsed by multiple QAnon conspiracists, grifters, and the Democrats favorite Republican, Dan Cox has now added disgraced ex-Marine Stuart Scheller to the list.
In case you are wondering why Scheller is a former Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps, here’s why:
In October 2021, as part of a plea deal with the Marine Corps, Scheller pleaded guilty at a special court-martial to violating Article 88 (contempt toward officials), Article 89 (disrespect toward superior commissioned officers), Article 90 (willfully disobeying a superior commissioned officer), Article 92 (dereliction in the performance of duties), Article 92 (failure to obey an order or regulation) and 27 specifications of Article 133 (conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman).
Scheller also called for a revolution against the United States Government:
In the posts, he doubled down on his criticism of high-ranking members of the Department of Defense, attempted to charge Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie Jr., the chief of U.S. Central Command, with 13 separate violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice via a Facebook post and called for a revolution.
He ended multiple posts by saying, “every generation needs a revolution,” a misquote from Thomas Jefferson.
“Follow me and we will bring the whole f*cking system down,” Scheller said in an Aug. 29, 2021, video.
That of course is ludicrous on its face. But it’s even more so when you are a United States Military Officer. Blasting your opinions on Facebook is fine if you are a civilian. But doing so as a commissioned officer, particularly one calling for “revolution”, is mind-numbingly stupid.
Seems like Scheller’s problem is that he didn’t watch A Few Good Men, from which even non-Marines can deduce what he should have done
Cox may be continuing to collect endorsement from fringe elements from outside of Maryland. But beyond a wishy-washy not-quite-an-endorsement statement from Neil Parrott, it’s telling that no other elected officials have endorsed Cox and his nuttiness.
Why does Cox collect endorsements like this? All of his endorsements come from people who have shown themselves to be untrustworthy, delusional, and conspiratorial. And Marylanders should not be expected to support a candidate like Dan Cox who is supported by such a motley crew of goofs.
He stood up for those who were killed in Afghanistan. You’re repeating BIDEN talking points here Brian!
Perhaps if you had served in the military you would not characterize Scheller the way you have. If it not for men like him protecting your pansy ass you would not be able to sit there and criticize. Shame on you and all who have failed to protect America.
