I listened to the Dan Cox promo on Steve Bannon War Room on Monday!  (Remember Steve Bannon who suggested to Donald Trump ahead of the Jan 6th rally how to “kill the Biden presidency in the crib” before a pro-Trump mob laid siege to the Capitol to stop the certification of President Biden’s election.  A rally that Dan Cox attended?)

I tallied many lies, misstatements, and manipulations of the truth in the promo talk on Bannon’s show.  Here we go from Dan’s promotional message!

1.  Dan Cox:  “The election was stolen.”   Anyone who has watched the Select Committee knows that even Trump’s inner circle in the White House declared to Trump that he lost the election.  Dan Cox still cannot accept that the Constitution was followed in determining the outcome of the 2020 election.   

Can we please just stop this false rhetoric?

1. Dan Cox:  “25 – 30% of Democrats are looking for the freedom candidate.”  Really?  Show the proof, please. 

1. Dan Cox:  “Kelly Schulz is going after vaccine passports with her Pandemic Center.”  No, Dan, we have discussed this many times via The Duckpin. . . 

Dan Cox Continues the Great Lie About COVID

There is NO mention of the words -- Vaccine Passport -- in any portion of the Pandemic Center’s website!!!!!

Let’s just stop this lie.

1. Dan Cox said something that is not only blatantly false, but seriously egregious to the point of harming our Black community.  Dan Cox tries to tie the horrendous history around the Crownsville Asylum (where indeed medical atrocities occurred) to the “experimental jab for jobs”.  This is a disgraceful thing for Dan Cox to suggest.  

The minority populations are at higher risk for Covid for a variety of reasons.  It’s called “racial health disparities”.  Dan actually creates more fear for African Americans when he willfully provides disinformation around the vaccine.  Dan therefore adds to the racial health disparity still evident. 

Dan does not understand the history of our black population and 

the resulting history in our medical science that prevents such 

atrocities to ever occur again in our country.  

The Covid vaccine is NOT an experiment.  We have full approval for both mRNA vaccines. 

Dan is actually harming our black population with the lies he makes about the vaccine by playing into their fears of past history.  Rather than providing ACCURATE and UNBIASED information on this topic, Dan Cox stokes those fears.  Dan Cox needs to keep stop this blatant fear-mongering, as he is ill-informed on all things Covid.  

1. Dan Cox is going to return the Trump Tax cuts to us??? Really, how are you going to do that?   Trump Covid relief has its parameters where the money may be spent.   Please provide specifics. 

1. Dan Cox:  “The Black community loves Trump”.      Please provide the source, Dan.

Dan Cox:  “Hogan and Kelly say it is absurd and ridiculous that parents want parental rights in making decisions re: their children’s education.”  Listen to the video of the interview, Dan.  You are manipulating what was said.  Hogan said that DeSantis was retaliating against Disney (which is true) and that this whole fight with Disney was crazy (which is true).  Frankly, I don’t want my governor to not allow a business their freedom of speech.  And I certainly do not want my governor to threaten a business in Maryland, as did DeSantis in Florida.  

My questions to Dan Cox (which I’ve asked before, with no response from Dan).

1.  We have the BA.5 variant that is swarming around causing a rise in Covid cases.    It is immune evasive.  How will Dan help the numbers of patients seeking therapeutics?  And will he provide HONEST information around the new vaccine that has the Omicron variant protection?  Will he set up distribution and vaccination sites this fall?  It is appropriate to talk here about “racial health disparity”.  Will Dan support the effort to eliminate racial health disparities?

1. How is Dan Cox going to protect the most vulnerable of our population from Covid BA.5?  Our vulnerable need to go grocery shopping, go to work.   Will Dan Cox recommend mask wearing?  Vaccinations?   Nah, Dan Cox is going to just let the virus rip through, and Maryland will become a state like Florida where the death rate was one of the highest in the country (even as DeSantis lies about the deaths). 

1. How are you going to help the Long Covid disabled people?  We are seeing more than 25% of Covid patients suffering with Long Covid. They need help.   No word from you.  

1. The Long Covid people are struggling to make ends meet.  They may be unemployable due to their long Covid.  They probably have immense medical bills for this new chronic condition.  What is Dan Cox going to do for them? 

1. How are you going to manage the state expenses associated with Long Covid?  Health care costs, disability costs (short term and long term)?   We may see a young generation with long term health issues as a result of Covid.  What about the economic strain on workmen’s compensation?  Scientists need to do more research on how to manage these patients?  How will Dan help us?  We need clinics for Covid Long Haulers!  What about private disability insurance and Federal disability programs?  Is Dan helping?  Does he have a plan?  Not a word from Dan.  

1. How will Dan Cox get us ready for the next pandemic?   I think we have the answer:  NOTHING.  

1. Why do you continue to misrepresent “The Pandemic Center”?   Are you opposed to our having mAB’s ready and stockpiled for anticipated viruses?  Why do you keep talking about vaccine passports when The Center does NOT mention vaccine passports. 

1. The Long Covid population is creating issues for full employment in Maryland.  If these people can’t work, how are you going to fix the lack of available workers and employees? 

1. I am still asking for Dan Cox to provide transparency with his “poll” done by Remington Research Group.  Every poll done has a report.   Ron DeSantis used RRG and his report is availability on line.  Sarah Huckabee Sanders used RRG and her report is available online.  Where’s Dan’s report?  I contacted RRG twice with no response.    Was the poll done?  We have no proof.  

I still do not see Dan Cox with answers for these questions, but I can surmise based on his anti-mask, anti-vax rhetoric, Dan Cox will abandon Marylanders when it comes to Covid.    

I want a candidate who will keep us safe.  Dan Cox simply cannot do that and will not do it.
