Once again, Dan Cox lies by omission and manipulation of the facts.
On a since-deleted Facebook post, Dan Cox says “While Baltimore City is bleeding and I was there last night (with even the Attorney General of the United States)…
Deceiving words. No, Dan, I seriously doubt that you were there together with our US Attorney General. I don’t see any photos of the two of you together. I highly doubt that our Attorney General would be seen with a candidate, especially one who participated in Jan 6th activities – the very event that is currently being investigated. (See how quickly I can deceive by manipulating your words?)
Just as egregious, Dan tries to shame Wes Moore for not being there. Dan states: “My opponent Wes Moore was apparently posing for photographs in Washington D.C. as if he is running for federal office or something.”
While I know personally how Dan Cox loves to shame people, Wes Moore was at the Capitol representing ALL veterans supporting the passage of the PACT Act. Wes Moore is a retired Army Captain, having served in the Afghanistan War.
Dan, tell me again which branch of the military did you serve in? Ah yes, the Civil Air Patrol.
Dan, do you understand what the PACT Act is providing our veterans? Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act.
The PACT Act will “ensure veterans can receive high-quality health care screenings and services related to potential toxic exposures, the PACT Act expands access to VA health care services for veterans exposed during their military service. Included:
Expands and extends eligibility for VA health care for Veterans with toxic exposures and Veterans of the Vietnam, Gulf War, and post 9-11 eras
Adds more than 20 new presumptive conditions for burn pits and other toxic exposures
Adds more presumptive exposure locations for Agent Orange and radiation
Requires VA to provide a toxic exposure screening to every Veteran enrolled in VA health care
Helps us improve research, staff education, and treatment related to toxic exposures.
While both events were important (Baltimore City and the passage of the PACT Act), Dan decides to lie by omission (not giving context) trying to paint a poor image of Wes Moore.
Dan Cox certainly is a Trumper – maybe I’ll start counting all the lies and misrepresentations coming from the Dan Cox Campaign – maybe Dan’s lies will equal the number that Trump has told?
I don’t vote for a candidate who constantly lies (by commission or omission) or manipulates the truth. If a candidate lies during the campaign, he is certain to lie during his years as an elected individual.
We simply cannot trust the words of Dan Cox.
