Dan Cox Still Accepts No Blame
Maybe at some point, Dan Cox will man up and take responsibility for his loss and for the disaster that he personally has brought to this state. But that day is not today.
Dan Cox lost the gubernatorial election six months ago and is still blaming anybody and everybody but himself for his defeat.
Ever the snowflake, Cox took to Facebook this morning to complain about “Republicans and pro-Second Amendment Democrats who failed to support our campaign own this debacle. “
As governor I would have vetoed the illegal anti-self defense laws Governor Moore signed into law yesterday, and withheld all funding from key Democrat measures if they sought to override my vetoes on these bills. Republicans and pro-Second Amendment Democrats who failed to support our campaign own this debacle.
Cox putting the blame of Republicans and pro-gun Democrats is a very weird flex, because none of the people in question would have flocked to vote for Wes Moore based on his virulent and obvious anti-gun positions.
Everybody knows why Cox lost the campaign, an outcome that was as predictable as the sun rising in the morning.
Then again, as I wrote one year ago:
At this point, you just have to pity Dan Cox. He has found himself in an untenable position of getting himself into an unwinnable election. But Dan Cox has decided instead of acting like a man, he will act like a beta male and blame everybody but himself, everything but his feckless campaign, and every idea other possible cause other than his peddling of debunked, crackpot theories.
Maybe at some point, Dan Cox will man up and take responsibility for his loss and for the disaster that he personally has brought to this state.
