Gordana Schifanelli Has Left the GOP

Following my lead, the former GOP Candidate for Lt. Governor has left for a new party

Former Republican Nominee for Lt. Governor and Candidate Gordana Schifanelli has left the Maryland Republican Party.

Sources confirmed to The Duckpin that Schifanelli disaffiliated from the Republican Party following her failed attempt to run for Maryland Republican Party Chairman back in December.

Schifanelli is officially listed as being a member of “Other parties” but is working to create her own party, the Patriot Party.

Schifanelli became disillusioned with the party after her slate for Maryland Republican Party officer roles was disqualified from the race for gross incompetence. Schifanelli further made a spectacle of herself at the GOP Convention with a ridiculous outburst.

No word yet on if Schifanelli plans to make her party an officially registered party and running candidates for office or whether this is just a protest move.
