While I always enjoy your thoughtful commentary, and generally agree, this time I think you're wrong.

I have worked with Adam on Nicolee's campaign and found him to be open to hearing all voices and then marching to his and his boss's drum. I heartily disagree that Nicolee is one of the problems but that will wait for another discussion. Nicole Harris received lots of notes from people interested in the position and she found a person who is respectful and respected. Someone with a history of dealing with challenging people and challenging situations. Adam also has shown a willingness to learn.

Your assertion that Maryland is unique is obviously true but our situation is not. The challenges in each of our 24 subdivisions are unique too so would you argue that we cannot have solid Statewide leadership? As Adam is new to Maryland, he has no long term enemies or, perhaps more importantly, people to whom he owes favor or support.

I should add that Nicole is not Andy and Adam isn't Nicolee. To pretend that they are is insulting to all four people.

I should add also that we need a time of unification and not division. If you won't give Nicole a honeymoon period, at least a little breathing room would be helpful to our cause and our Party.

Who are these people?

"Well, multiple sources have told The Duckpin that there were several interested candidates with Maryland connections and a track record of success who were seeking the job, but none of them heard back regarding the vacancy."
