Why was Gordana Schifanelli criticizing NATO's role in stopping ethnic cleansing in Kosovo?
I have already presented Gordana Schifanelli’s tweets on the recent French election between the current President Macron and a far-right fascist candidate, Marine Le Pen. We already know that Dan Cox walked out on a vote in the Maryland General Assembly documenting Maryland’s support for Ukraine.
Let’s continue looking at Gordana Schifanelli’s tweets on another NATO related issue.
Schifanelli retweets a tweet commenting on the conflict in Southern Europe in 1999, NATO’s involvement in Yugoslavia.
Her retweet: “The final NATO report on the bombing of Yugoslavia made no mention of Rakić's death, even under the category of "special incidents”.”
Remember that NATO was involved in this campaign as a result of Yugoslavia’s bloodshed and ethnic cleansing of Albanians during the Kosovo War. NATO went in under humanitarian intervention. Yugoslavia killed up to 2131 combatants, along with 8676 Albanian civilians killed or missing. NATO bombing killed around 1,000 Yugoslav security forces, along with around 500 civilians. Mikica Rakic (referred to in this tweet) was a 3 year old and was killed by shrapnel during the bombing. Unfortunately, children and civilians were in the crosshairs of NATO bombing to stop the atrocities initiated by Yugoslavia toward Albania.
What is Schifanelli implying with her retweet? Is she siding with Yugoslavia’s ethnic cleaning of Albanians? Is she criticizing NATO for stopping the atrocities against Albanians? I think voters of Maryland deserve an answer from Gordana.
And another tweet from Schifanelli commenting on Prime Minister Boris Johnson walking in Kiev with President Zelensky recently. Gordana tweets: “Where the war? When US led NATO over Yugoslavia was going on in 1999 for 78 days you couldn’t make these kids of videos or walk freely like this. “ (I do not edit Gordana’s spelling or grammar, etc.)

Again, what is Schifanelli implying? Is she in support of NATO or making insinuations about NATO? We deserve to understand Schifanelli ’s apparent criticism of NATO.
Between her support for a far right-wing candidate for the French Presidency election and her implications in the NATO involvement in Yugoslavia, I believe that we, as voters, deserve an explanation from Gordana. Why does she support a French candidate for President of France who has met with Putin and whose party has financial connections with Russia? Why does Gordana seemingly criticize NATO forces when NATO stopped the atrocities committed by her country Yugoslavia?
Even though Gordana is running as Lt. Governor for Maryland, her global viewpoints on items of US national security are critical for voters of Maryland to know. As Marylanders, we cannot afford to vote for a candidate who would have us disconnected from our national security interests.

Babs, this is the most reptilian thing I’ve read from you yet.
The "retired from a 40 year career in Pharma/Biotech" woman knows more about the bombings in Yugoslavia than the proud USA Citizen who immigrated from Yugoslavia and who lived through the bombings? Enough said.
