New Study Shows Maryland #4 in 2022’s Most innovative States
The achievements of Larry Hogan and Kelly Schulz must be appreciated for working to create such an innovative business climate
A new study has come out entitled “2022’s Most and Least Innovative States”. https://wallethub.com/edu/most-innovative-states/31890
Looks like Maryland is in 4th place in overall rank, involving both Human Capital and Innovation Environment. Please go to the article for the list of criteria under both categories.
It is time for the Dan Cox campaign to recognize the achievements of Governor Hogan’s administration with Kelly Schulz as Secretary of Commerce in moving Maryland forward.
It is apparent from this study that Governor Hogan (with Kelly Schulz as Secretary of Commerce) has been successful in investing in research and development as well as creating the business environment to compete in this global environment. (And yes, Gordana, we live in a global world, and we must consider the global environment to attract businesses to our state.)
Let’s just take a sample of some of the categories where Maryland is in the top 5!
This also looks like a great opportunity in the state to continue to encourage STEM education in our schools – particularly for young women!
I encourage everyone to read the article and click on the experts’ individual commentary.
I also believe the sources listed below are extensive, providing validity to the ranking of states.
I would suggest that Kelly Schulz, as our future Governor of Maryland, will continue to move Maryland forward. I have yet to see any proposal from the Dan Cox campaign showing a long-term vision for attracting the kinds of businesses and technological innovations that will be required to keep Maryland at the top of this list for the next ten years. Our next governor must have the vision that Kelly Schulz has demonstrated. I’ll rely on Kelly Schulz to have the expertise and the know-how to continue this trajectory.
