Nicolee Ambrose Still Raising Money
She lost Tuesday, but Ambrose still wants your financial support
Failed Congressional candidate Nicolee Ambrose still wants the only thing that she can extract from people anymore: your money.
In an email the campaign sent today, Ambrose noted that she has not yet conceded, but also wants to raise your money to “make sure the vote counts are correct.”
It's not over yet. There is a lot of work to be done.
It's only fair to the voters that we ensure every ballot is counted. We start the ballot canvassing process for the approximately 45,000 ballots that have yet to be counted at the Board of Elections offices tomorrow at 8:00AM, and we need the resources to do it.
Will you consider giving one final donation of $50, $100, or $250? We need to make sure the vote counts are correct and that we are confident the voters' will is reflected in the results.
Candidates of course will not have to pay a penny for the canvassing process so it is unclear why Ambrose needs “the resources to do it”. More than likely, this indicates that the campaign is in debt and is trying one last push to raise a few bucks to cover debts.
But to ask for campaign funds this way is blatantly dishonest, a common theme of Nicolee Ambrose’s political life.
