One Year Ago: Maryland Native Scott Hall Passes Away

1 year ago today - on March 14, 2022 - Scott Hall passed away in the Atlanta area. Hall was born in 1958 in St. Mary’s County in Maryland. As a military brat, he attended high school in Germany. He graduated from St. Mary’s College with a pre-med degree.
He started out at Championship Wrestling From Florida, where he had a feud with Dusty Rhodes. He then went to the AWA and wound up with WCW, the WWF, the WWE, TNA, and several other places wrestling.
He was inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014 in New Orleans ahead of Wrestlemania XX.
After his death last year, Hall was buried in St. Mary’s, MD. Since then his brother Steve was elected Sheriff of St. Mary’s County.
