Swastikas Appear in Baltimore County
Two instances of swastika vandalism have appeared in recent days, and both have a Dan Cox connection. The Cox Campaign appears to be a victim in at least one instance
Today two instances of spraypainted swastika vandalism have appeared in Baltimore County.
The first was reported this afternoon near I-795 in Reisterstown. In this instance, a Dan Cox 4’x8’ sign was tagged with a swastika. A second sign for Michael Peroutka was tagged “Jan 6th”
In the second interest, the swastika was accompanied by “COX” spraypainted alongside it.
That these instances of vandalism appeared so close together seems curious. The fact that a Cox sign was defaced leads one to conclude that the person who did at least that instance is not a fan of Cox.
That of course has not stopped Democrats from immediately using the second instance of vandalism to attack Dan Cox.
For all of Dan Cox’s many faults, he has never portrayed himself as anything resembling a Nazi. The closest he came to that was endorsing self-professed neo-Nazi Shekinah Hollingsworth in the primary election.
In at least one of these instances, Dan Cox and his campaigns appear to be the victims of the vandalism. Keep an eye on this story as it develops to try and figure out who is behind this horrible vandalism.
Hopefully, the next 95 days aren’t like this.
EDIT: 8:57 PM: Cox with an appropriate statement in response
