Dan Cox's Security Detail? None other than his son Josiah. That's where things get interesting
Last night we wrote about the new “security” detail that Dan Cox has surrounded himself with. You know, the Sprockets looking guy.
Well, it turns out that guy is Josiah Cox. One of Dan Cox’s sons. This should not be a surprise considering Dan Cox can’t afford to pay anybody to join his campaign staff.
Incidentally, remember the earpiece?
We’ve confirmed with a police officer that does private security on the side that while doing private security, they never wear an earpiece while working solo.
All of this is to say that it turns out that Josiah Cox, the guy above, is also this guy.
Yes, Josiah Cox is also a (former) Twitch video game streamer named JsqueeZZy. I mean, good for him, I’m glad he has hobbies. And that would not be of concern to me.
But other than tweety out selfies and video game stuff and disturbing, awkward “thirst traps” to porn stars, the account has taken a turn and started tweeting some absolutely insane, bonkers stuff.
The last one might be my favorite, considering Diana Waterman has never served in any elected position so she was never able to be “directly responsible for multiple and egregious overreaches in Maryland Government for the past several years.”
The tweets accusing various people of federal crimes of course are libelous and actionable.
This entire scenario is just so weird and bizarre to me. Dan Cox’s kid is on Twitter under a pseudonym publicly accusing people of various non-existent crimes. The same kid is serving as Dan Cox’s “security detail”.
But the weirdest thing of all is that Dan Cox still has a “security detail” at all. This means one of two things:
This is all performance art. Dan Cox’s megalomania is clearly out of control and the creation of a “security detail” makes Cox feel important and relevant, and continues to create some sort of weird illusion that he is Trump-like; or, more alarmingly;
That Dan Cox thinks he is in danger and has no problem putting his own kid in harm’s way between himself and security issues.
Either way, Dan Cox has now ensnared his own son into his orbit of weirdness in cosplaying as a “security detail” while Tweeting our wild and insane things.
How much worse can Cox’s campaign get?
EDIT: shortly after publication Josiah Cox deleted his Twitter account. But that's ok. Because screencaps are forever….
