The Fox in the Henhouse

Maybe I’m a Neanderthal. I still yearn for the innocent world of Transformers cartoons and rec league baseball, a time when my friends and I would venture outside and climb trees, ride our bikes, and walk through my parent’s woods. It was a simpler time. A time when woke progressives were the stuff of nightmares, far removed from children’s bedrooms. Unfortunately, some nightmares do manifest as night terrors, and they are very real and very physical.

One of those nightmares recently surfaced in my house when my seven-year-old daughter, a little girl who loves Disney princesses and her brown teddy bear, brought home a book from her school library titled My Sister, Daisy. Like any reasonable parent, I discovered this dark comedy when I looked through her bookbag for schoolwork to review.

My Sister, Daisy is the stuff of nightmares. It’s about a kindergartener who wants to be a girl. He wants everyone to use the pronouns she and her, including his big brother, because that’s apparently important to the little brother. ‘Daisy’s’ progressive parents obviously encourage and accept their little boy’s gender dysphoria (transgenderism). The most disturbing part of this book (and there are plenty) is that this book is promoted to kids between the ages of 5 and 7. (You will also notice that this book is available for free with Amazon Kids+).

Think about it. What were you doing between the ages of 5 and 7? No, you absolutely were not thinking about taking puberty blockers or taking steps to ‘transition’ to the opposite sex. And if you’re a progressive reading this, no, you weren’t thinking about it either. Sorry to break it to you, but that’s the reality of the situation as much as you don’t want to believe it.  

Fifteen years ago, this progressive garbage would’ve been nowhere near our kids. Progressives were fighting a different war back then, a war for marriage equality. In 2008, presidential candidate Barack Obama stated that marriage was between a man and a woman. Progressives eventually won that war when conservatives and center-minded people caved after being labeled as homophobes and backward-thinking in the media. Everyone should be accepted, except those barbarians who cling to traditional family values.

That was to be the end, correct? No, the progressive zealots kept marching after that dragon was slayed, projecting their virtues towards traditional families, including coming for our children. You might have seen some of them dressed in latex during a Pride parade or serving as the United States assistant health secretary. They no longer had the monster of homophobia to slay, but they still had a purpose. They want you to know they still had a purpose. They weren’t finished.

Fast forward ten years and here we are. We have propaganda like My Sister, Daisy in elementary school libraries, selected by local school boards as appropriate, and ordered by school librarians. It should come as no surprise that the same school boards that adopt the fiction of critical race theory into public schools are the same school boards that promote anti-science ‘transgenderism’ all the while carrying their ridiculous multi-colored war banners. They are the progressive zealots running for school boards and projecting their bullshit onto our children.

The woke mob wants to indoctrinate our children. Don’t believe me? Look at the author of My Sister, Daisy. She was so self-important that she wrote a thesis at the end of the book (who does that?). Here’s a snippet.

Just before my ‘daughter’ turned six, while reading a bedtime story, ‘she’ told me ‘she’ was a girl. This was surprising to me as I always assumed ‘her’ to be my son. The book we were reading discussed gender identity and the gender spectrum-how the idea of boy versus girl doesn’t work for everyone and mentioned that the gender people are ‘assigned’ at birth might not match who they are inside.

What kind of psychopath reads a book about ‘gender assignment’ to their six-year-old son? I’ll tell you who, a woke ‘mother’ who is obviously projecting her own virtues onto her son—who remains her son regardless of the child abuse being inflicted by the author of Daisy. While my kids are reading the Berenstain Bears, this poor guy is being brainwashed by this monster. It’s no wonder why her son wanted to be a girl.

What happens when a kid reads a book about dinosaurs? They want to be a dinosaur. What about when a kid reads a book about police officers? They want to be a police officer. There’s a reason why little girls want to be princesses. It’s no secret. Children’s minds are easily influenced, which is why the woke mob is coming from them. (On a side note, feel free to read The Madness of Crowds by Douglas Murray, someone far more intelligent than me on the subject of the woke mob).

It’s these people, these parents who think they know better, that project their warped philosophy onto their kids. But they won’t stop there. They want our kids to be indoctrinated, too. They want to be accepted at cocktail parties, to brag to their friends about how progressive their kids are, to celebrate the fact that their children are taking puberty blockers and mutilating their bodies. While we should rightfully condemn FGM in certain areas of the world, we celebrate it here.

This is madness. We are way past the point of men dressing up as women (clowns) in public libraries to read to children. It’s about protecting kids, and if like-minded people don’t start paying attention, and don’t start peeling their collective asses off their couches, then we will medicate an entire generation into worshipping this false science.

Don’t believe me? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the parallel between the rise of woke progressivism during the past fifteen years and the rise of gender dysphoria in our youth. This isn’t unique to the United States but has occurred across Western Civilization.  Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom have all witnessed an explosion in kids who identify as ‘transgender.’ Seems interesting, doesn’t it?

What you don’t hear about is that the majority of kids who want to magically become the opposite sex are teenage girls who are attracted to the same sex.

The Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust offers gender identity services for children under 18, with some patients as young as three or four years old. They now have a record number of referrals and see 3,200% more patients than they did 10 years ago - with the increase for girls up by 5,337%.

This is reinforced by the number of women who ‘transition’ to ‘men’ in their 20’s who want to ‘detransition’ back to women again. The same woke progressives who were championing same-sex marriages fifteen years ago are now throwing dangerous puberty blockers at girls who are simply lesbians. Yes, these woke progressives follow the Iranian form of dealing with homosexuality by suggesting surgery on them. Progress!

These kids are being brainwashed/influenced at the adolescent age and not given the proper guidance. Rather, they are being influenced by ideologues who want to cultivate this sickness. For those who wave the banner of transgenderism, up to 95% of ‘transgender’ kids elect to detransition after the damage has already been done. There is so much more I could include about the dangers of this false ideology in this article, but I don’t want to lose the main point about this propaganda.

These books have no place in our schools. They are works of far-left progressives who want to impose their warped values upon our children. This can only be ended by parental involvement. This includes parents running for BOE seats and getting involved with their schools.

The culture war is an important war that most families must fight if we are going to rebuild the crumbling blocks of western civilization, including nuclear families. Get involved. Stay informed. Fight for your kids.
