Cox's Bonkers Closing Argument
A year into his candidacy and Dan Cox still can't articulate an argument that appeals beyond his hardest of hardcore supporters
In a letter to supporters promoting tomorrow’s Trump Tele-Rally, Dan Cox makes his closing argument to his supporters. It is absolutely bonkers.
Did you know that Maryland politics is impacting the entire nation, and in fact the world? My opponent Kelly Schulz stood with Hogan who was Chair of the National Governor's Association with Cuomo as his Vice Chair, and they ORDERED Maryland and New York CLOSED under criminal penalty, and then pressured the nation's governors to shut down each of their states - causing the most egregious violations of personal liberty since before the Founding of our nation while undermining the national leadership of President Trump in the White House.
There’s a lot in here that is of questionable accuracy, including the idea that Larry Hogan and Andrew Cuomo “pressured” governors to shut down their states. It also calls back to Cox’s conspiracy theory that he has pushed in the past that Hogan and Cuomo worked to install a “shadow government”.
Even that isn’t nearly as offensive as the idea that COVID restrictions were “the most egregious violations of personal liberty since before the Founding.” I’m sure that those who suffered under slavery, those who Native tribes confined on reservations, or those Japanese-Americans interred during World War II would beg to differ with his ridiculous assertion.
Hogan-Kelly misused the Wuhan Virus, and denied treatments that were allowed under President Trump's newly signed-into-law Right to Try Act and people died begging for options that were denied them by Hogan's executive order, all as a pretense but done in order to undermine the President of the United States and destroy the most amazing economy we had in America's history at that time
Now Cox just goes full racist in calling in the “Wuhan Virus” all while again asserting that the Larry Hogan was looking to undermine Donald Trump.
In case it isn’t obvious, Dan Cox has a casual relationship with reality.
History shows that no President is re-elected if the economy goes negative in election year, and this is what the RINOs and Far Left joined together to misuse COVID-19 to do in 2020. But it almost failed - so they had to steal the election to make it final.
Speaking of a casual relationship with reality, how many times does it need to be proven that the election was not stolen before Dan Cox starts telling the truth? Or is that day just never going to come?
And then during that time, Kelly Schulz signed trade deals with foreign nations and businesses as Commerce Secretary while at the same time shutting down our small businesses under penalty of jail time and saying "Wear the Damn Mask" under the same penalty of jail for ages five years old and up. These are angering facts they want you to forget.
Apparently, Dan Cox thinks that the state wanted to put five-year-olds in jail. Does he have proof? Of course not, but that’s never stopped Cox before.
BUT TODAY OUR INFLATION IS PRECISELY BECAUSE OF WHAT MY OPPONENT DID.
THEY TRIED TO "FIX" THEIR ECONOMIC DESTRUCTION BY INFUSING BILLIONS OF DOLLARS BACK INTO THE ECONOMY ONLY TO CAUSE SPIKING INFLATION LIKE WE HAVEN'T SEEN IN OVER FORTY YEARS.
Emphasis his. I guess he forgot that inflation started under the Trump Administration due to Trump’s reckless spending. But I didn’t know Kelly Schulz was so powerful as Commerce Secretary that she could cause worldwide inflation. What power.
And friends, that is why we must win and get our state back on track for freedom and prosperity. Never again must we allow globalists to shut down our small businesses and churches and trample our rights.
Globalists. The favorite catchphrase of the ignorant.
Cox goes on to advertise his Tele-Rally.
Cox still hasn’t come up with an argument that isn’t narrowcasted to his tiny base. Despite running for Governor for over a year, he still hasn’t come up with an argument as to why anybody but his most hardcore supporters would vote for him.
The end is near.
